Pastor Rod was born and raised in Caruthers, CA.   Rod was employed in the construction business 30 years.

After giving their hearts to the Lord, Pastor Rod and his wife began attending a small church in Caruthers and were soon lead to work with the youth, the Jail Ministry and the Fresno Rescue Mission.  He loved to serve others and soon realized that God was calling him into the ministry.  He has been the Senior Pastor at Lemoore Nazarene since 1992 and was ordainded in 1997.  Pastor Rod is currently a member of the District Advisory Board and the District Properties Board.

Pastor Rod and his wife Jacqui have 2 children, Stephanie and Jon.

Pastor Michael Johnson is our Associate Pastor of Visitation.  He has served as the Visitation Minister since receiving his Local Minister’s License in August 1996.  He was called to ministry shortly after him and Tina, his wife, became members of the Lemoore Church of the Nazarene.  Pastor Michael fulfills his role in the ministry of our local church body by visiting with people in their home, in the hospital, in jail or prison, or any other place the Lord would lead him to meet with those we are called to serve.  Michael goes to the sick and dying, to the hurting and the seeking.  As often as he can he will partner with another man from our church, or Tina, to make these calls.

Michael is retired from the U.S. Navy, and also serves as part-time Chaplain for Kings County Sheriff’s Department.  He provides pulpit fill for other churches on the Central California District, including occasionally preaching here at our home church.  Michael also serves as a Sunday School teacher, coordinator for the greeters during Sunday morning services, and fills in with the ushers.  He is one of the first smiling faces you will be greeted by when you come to our church.  Michael believes that if you are visiting for the first time, or the one thousand and first time, that your time at the Lemoore Church is important to you and us, because it is important to God.

Pastor Michael was ordained in April, 2008.

Pastor Dave was raised in Fremont, California, accepting the Lord in September of 1968 at the early age of five.  He moved to Lemoore when stationed here serving in the United States Navy.  He and his wife, Phyllis, were married in December 1988.  They have two children - a daughter, Kerstin, and a son, Wes.  Pastor Dave and his family started attending the Lemoore Church of the Nazarene in May 2003.  He felt God calling him into the ministry at an early age and started taking classes in 1982.  He received a local minister’s license in 2004, his district license in 2006, and is working on becoming an ordained minister.  As the Men’s Ministries Pastor, it is his desire to see men truly devote themselves to Christ.  Dave, also, provides pulpit fill for other churches in the Central California District.

Dave has been working in the electronics field since 1979.  He spent four years in the Navy, then went to work as a civilian on the flight simulators at Lemoore Naval Air Station.  He currently teaches electronics for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations.

Joe was born in Waukeegan, IL, and was raised in Tulare, CA.   He attended West Hills Community College, and was in the US Navy for 21 years.

Joe has been Men's Ministries Director since 2005.

He married Barbara in 1981 and they have 4 girls.

Tina Johnson is an integral part of our church family as she offers her inexhaustible time, talent and leadership to our Women’s Ministries.  She assists her husband in many of the visits that are made to the hospital and homes.  Tina is the Hospitality Team Leader, she coordinates the annual Women’s Luncheon, she works at coordinating find-raisers, which provide the means to send the children of our church to the Christian Camps sponsored by Central California District Church of the Nazarene, she has a team that she oversees in the arranging of baby showers for new mothers and their newborns, and meals to provide help for members of our church who come home after a surgery or sickness.  She also is a member of the Women’s Retreat committee and assists in the coordinating of the annual Women’s Retreat. 

Tina is also very involved in helping decorate the church for special occasion dinners.  She also holds a weekly Bible study in her home and is a faithful member of our music ministry, where you can hear her lifting her voice in worship to our Lord during Sunday morning services.
